About Us
We are riders who became engineers. We use data and physics to design trails that ride well, stay safe and last.
We are mountain bikers first and engineers by discipline.
We come from the trail, but we work with data. Our way of thinking is shaped by years of riding, building, testing, and refining what makes a trail truly work. We believe that flow, safety, and longevity are not subjective feelings, but outcomes that can be engineered, measured, and repeated.
Too many trails are built on instinct alone. Some turn out well. Many end up inconsistent, unsafe in places, and expensive to keep open. We think trails deserve the same care as any other piece of infrastructure: measured, checked and documented.
We want riders to trust the line under their wheels, and the people who answer for safety and budgets to know exactly what they are getting.

Founder / Director
Blaž founded Lab2Dirt and wrote the software it runs on. The methodology, the physics models and the design tools are his work.
He rides and he engineers, and he wants trails that satisfy both halves: good to ride, safe, and affordable to build and run for years. Much of his work goes into taking the uncertainty out of projects for the operators who pay for them.
Day to day, that means turning how trails are actually ridden into models that can be tested, refined and built on the ground.
Managing Director
Robert is a trail builder. He has worked on everything from pump tracks and dirt jump parks to full bike park trail systems, including Bike Park Kope, Bike Park Bovec, Agi Bike Park, Dirt Park Radna and Red Hill Dirt Jumps, plus many pump tracks and dirt parks across Slovenia, Austria, Croatia and Montenegro.
He also rides, and has competed at Fest Series, Flat Out Days,Crankworx Whip-Off and the LooseFest. It shows in how he shapes a feature: he knows what it has to feel like from the bike.

Manca looks after how Lab2Dirt looks: the brand, the design booklets, and the way technical drawings are presented to clients.
